ISTVAN SANDORFI
This stunning 192-page book by Editions Garnier Nocera, Paris, features over 100 color reproductions of Sandorfi’s work from 1987 to 1997. The bilingual French-English text was written by noted French art critic, Gérard Xuriguera, with a special introduction by John O’Hern, director of the Arnot Museum. Autobiographical material by Sandorfi is also included, as well as numerous photos of the artist, his family and his studio.
The price of the book is $85. A special deluxe limited edition of 200, which includes a signed Sandorfi print, is also available for $300. Shipping charges apply.
Also available is the 16 page full-color catalogue from the 2002 Sandorfi exhibition at Jane Kahan Gallery. This catalogue includes an interview with Sandorfi in which the artist talks about his work and technique.
